Lough Neagh Tours celebrated the introduction of a new tour planned for 2019 which takes in the splendour of Ballyscullion House for afternoon tea and brings guests on an extensive tour of ‘Heaney country’. Nicola’s husband Ian celebrated more than 25 years with Bombardier and Nicola had the honour of accompanying him to the Long Service Awards dinner.
Another celebration this month brought the best of the PR industry out to celebrate the CIPRide Awards at the Culloden Estate. Nicola was invited to attend as a guest of UTV – thank you Olivia.
The highlight of the year had to be the birthday celebrations for the fabulous Pamela Ballantine and Nicola and Ian were thrilled to be invited to celebrate with her, rounding up October’s month of celebrations.
It wasn’t all networking with cocktails and canapes this month though as there was some real work done too!
Nicola attended a Women In PR session exploring mental health in the communications industry which was facilitated by Moment Health CEO and founder Nuala Murphy. It was a thought provoking and very worthwhile session with some very honest conversations being had around the table.
Siobhan Hanley shared emotional insights at an information evening for volunteers in Belfast from her recent visit to Uganda as Head of Self Help Africa in Northern Ireland.
And Lough Neagh Partnership hosted a two day conference examining the impact of the second world war on the area
